Cuernavaca.- IMSS Morelos workers who asked for their names to be reserved reported that the institute authorities are forcing them to apply the Abdala formula COVID-19 vaccine, although the doses have an expiration date.
They assure that the order is to apply the dose in the 24 units of the IMSS in Morelos in a discreet manner, as well as in the Health Centers of the entity.
The complaint from the IMSS workers is accompanied by photos of the bottles whose doses correspond to batch A182029 with an expiration date of August 2023.

However, the head of the operating body of the Mexican Social Security Institute in Morelos, Angélica María Martínez Lopez, rejected the allegations and stated that they received a first batch close to 90 doses, to be applied to the entire population of Morelos.
In an interview, he declared that it is the formula of the Abdala vaccine, which maintains a scientific confidence of 93 percent of immunization, according to what was published in the English specialized magazine My Medical.
He specified that the almost 90 thousand doses are applied between the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena), the Health Sector of the state of Morelos, ISSSTE and IMSS and highlighted that there is a favorable response from the population of Morelos.
