Due to this, the volume of training in the transport sector will increase 13 times.
The start of classes in the new spaces is scheduled for September 2025.
Deputy Director of the Department of Education of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Marat Nykyshov:
— Synchronizing the needs of the economy and the training provided by Yamal colleges is our priority. Currently, the region needs category “C” drivers, special equipment operators and other specialists in this field. The special equipment test site will not only provide municipalities with trained personnel, but will also significantly increase the professionalism of future workers.
The construction of the site will be implemented within the framework of the state program “Development of Education”, among other priorities of which is the repair and equipment of secondary vocational education institutions. The initiative was supported by Russian President Vladimir Putin. The head of state instructed the Government of the country, together with the regions, to intensify work in this area.
Yamal is actively involved in training personnel for the economy, also collaborating with fuel and energy companies and opening specialized classes in schools. Strengthening the training base of professional educational institutions is an important part of the new national project “Personnel”.
