The Béziers ring road will pass under the roundabout

Knowing that 34,000 vehicles and 2,000 heavy goods vehicles use the Béziers ring road every day, the community hopes improve traffic flow and improve safety by standardizing the bypass into 2×2 lanes. For this, it has started large-scale work since September 2023. Thus, after the creation of 2×2 lanes between the La Devèze interchange and the Vincent-Badie roundabout, the construction equipment is now tackling, to the West, to the construction of the Ardide roundabout, in elevation. At this precise location, two structures will be erected to allow the ring road to pass under the roundabout and to connect to the RD 64. A second infrastructure of this type will be built on the ring road: the Mediterranean roundabout. At the same time, work will progress on the RD 612 for its 2×2 track configuration.

During the construction site, traffic on the ring road will be maintained in both directions traffic, but speed will be reduced. However, some work will require its closure; they will be carried out at night to minimize the inconvenience caused.
