No student from special education will be on the bus for more than 90 minutes in the coming school year. Under the impulse of Minister Lydia Peeters, who released extra budgets, great progress has been made over the past 2 years. That says the manager of Autocars Neyens in Peer, specialized in student transport for special education. Yet there are still many challenges in the sector, such as finding enough bus drivers. One solution could be to have bus drivers also work under the flexi-job status.
