director Bangil Hospital, Dr. Arma Roosalina said, in this clinic there are three orthopedic specialists.
All doctors are ready to serve Pain Intervention Services or innovative treatment services for pain-free cases in bones, joints, muscles and ligaments.
The three doctors have qualified abilities, so they are guaranteed to be able to help patients with pain complaints, ranging from mild to chronic levels.
“We have three qualified orthopedic doctors. Already very professional, and all men. Ready to help all people who have complaints of pain all over the body,” said Arma.
In practice, the procedure is carried out by inserting certain drugs, substances, or tools into the body structure or certain body parts that are the source of pain.
Furthermore, it blocks nerves that are part of the pain pathway mechanism in a targeted manner. Namely using guiding tools such as ultrasound, fluoroscopy, c-arm, and other supporting tools.
“We are specific in pain management. So if there are patients with complaints of pain, before the action, we diagnose whether the type of pain can be done with pain intervention measures or not,” he explained.
Arma emphasized that pain intervention was very effective in dealing with a number of pain cases.
This is because it has a number of advantages, including minimally invasive procedures, using local anesthetics so the risk is lower, drugs being targeted directly with ultrasound and fluoroscopy guidance, and others.
“This pain intervention is very helpful for patients in reducing and stopping pain medication consumption, as well as rehabilitation or recovery faster and earlier,” he explained.
