Former US President Donald Trump has said that it is necessary to improve relations with Russia because of its large stockpile of nuclear weapons.
At a Republican rally in Pennsylvania, Trump said the “fake news media hate it” when he said he knew Russian President Vladimir Putin well. “They hate the fact that I got along with him. The Russian Federation has more nuclear weapons than we do. More or less the same, but a little more. Can you imagine that? Nobody ever talks about it,” said the 45th president of the United States. A video of his speech was posted on the Forbes Breaking News YouTube channel.

Trump stressed that the US is in a “very stupid and dangerous position” because of the conflict in Ukraine. At the same time, he expressed confidence that the US administration was wrong to allocate “times more than Europe” to support Kiev – $200 billion against $25 billion.
Trump has previously said that if he had remained in the US presidency, he could have avoided problems in both US domestic and foreign policy.
In November 2024, the US presidential elections will be held. Trump announced his entry into the November 2022 presidential race.
