Improving Performance in Baldur’s Gate 3 Using NVIDIA DLSS 3 Technology

The later part of Baldur’s Gate 3 greets players with very poor optimization. They tried to fix this using NVIDIA technology

Baldur’s Gate 3 doesn’t do well with optimization beyond the first act. For a significant part of the community, the third act became a big problem.

Modder PureDark added NVIDIA DLSS 3 technology (with frame generation) to Baldur’s Gate 3 and tested how much performance was improved. It turned out that the Larian Studios game can be overclocked well.

If with DLSS 2 in the third act of Baldur’s Gate 3 you can get jumping 30-40 FPS, then with DLSS 3 the frame counter is quite confidently kept at 60+ FPS.

However, not everything is so smooth: according to observations wccftech (CapFrameX) The average FPS (blue bar) has really increased significantly, but the minimum frame rate is not very good. This is due to the fact that the game loads the processor, i.e. Frame generation will not help in this case.
