Jakarta –
Bacapres Coalition for Change for Unity Anies Baswedan talking about services in the health sector that should be primary. Anies assesses that health services in the country cannot be fully enjoyed by the community.
This was conveyed by Anies during a visit to Bandung, West Java, Sunday (6/8/2023). During the visit, Anies was accompanied by the Democratic Party general chairman, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY).
“How many of our citizens come to the hospital instead of getting better, instead they become poor,” said Anies in his statement.
Anies assesses that this will change in 2024. He calls the health sector one of the homework alias homework that must be changed.
“In this case, I believe that changes in 2024 must begin immediately. Because health is a fundamental right,” he said.
“What is needed is to come to the hospital to be cured, not to go home poor. These homework we want to do together,” he continued.
Meanwhile, AHY said that the current Health BPJS was not perfect. According to him, there needs to be improvement in BPJS services.
“BPJS services must be improved, don’t let patients queue for hours at the hospital. What’s sad is that it’s as if underprivileged people shouldn’t get sick in our country. Many BPJS patients are forced out of the hospital after three days of being treated even though they haven’t recovered yet,” said AHY.
Furthermore, AHY then highlighted that there were parties who were worried about change. He emphasized that even though there are changes, it certainly won’t totally change the things that exist today.
“Our goal is the same, namely to fight for change and improvement, for a better Indonesia. There are those who are worried about change, as if it will completely replace it. Of course this is not true,” he said.
“The essence of change is what is already good, we appreciate and continue. What is not good, we evaluate and improve,” he added.
