The municipality of Rezé has decided to strengthen its sports policy. A three-year investment plan has just been implemented to improve and increase the equipment outside the walls in the locality. A budget of 150,000 euros per year will be allocated to the construction of new infrastructures and the renewal of existing systems.
The municipality plans, among other things, to improve the Ragon sports area, to renovate the city stadium in the Château district and to equip the Praud park with fitness equipment. It also plans to create two padel courts and a blind football pitch at the Trocardière multi-sports hall. In addition, other infrastructure is planned: fitness and bodybuilding sites, a multi-activity beach and a climbing block area.
The new sports facilities will be open to people of all ages and people with reduced mobility.
