The Scanian shoes in H65 Höör basically did everything right in the first half.
After losing the first final match against Skuru by 22-29, it was a charged and focused team that came out in match two. At most, they had gone up to a seven-goal lead with 19-12 just over 28 minutes into the match.
Impressed going forward were, among others, Evelina Källhage and Isabelle Andersson.
Swinging second half
But Skuru gathered the team at the break and came out determined to turn around. The non-existent goalkeeper game of the first half was replaced by a much more stable one and in step with saves backwards, the goals fell forward. With eleven minutes left, it was a draw again, 26-26.
Höör went up to a new two-goal lead, but Skuru did not give up. And with no less than three penalty throws during the final three minutes of the match, the guests were able to turn around and win. Alexandra Bjärrenholt was cross-confident, set the three penalties and Skuru won 31-29.
Now Stockholmers are a victory from the Swedish Championship gold.
