If all goes well, the W2012 machines will have received a set of patches and/or updates/upgrades today. And the rest (including W2012ESU machines) won’t get new patches until next month. So you’re not behind yet, you still have a month.
For enterprise users: They can continue for a few more years for approximately the price of the enterprise license (so approximately double the license costs!).
On the other hand, you have already missed the reason for update/upgrade several times:
– 2016 & 2019 & 2022, the introduction of the msWindows versions with those years in the name: Comparable to the desktop systems, you could have switched to the new version here relatively easily. You have done all that well with Windows 10. Many have also already switched to W11 on the desktop.
And also the various moments when Microsoft started doing less with Window 2012. So for the sake of convenience I assume that you are still consciously working on W2012 and will therefore continue to use it for a while.
