Trainer Rans Cilegon FC Bambang Nurdiansyah exposes the important role Christian gonzales at the club owned by the celebrity Raffi Ahmad.
The coach who is familiarly called Banur confirmed that Gonzales had agreed a contract for one season. The signing of the contract was immediately attended by club owner Raffi Ahmad.
“And that’s for sure why I’m okay-in [Gonzales gabung] because Rans Cilegon FC, the majority of the format will be a lot of young players. Gonzalez is, however, the idol of young people. So he can act as a motivator, “Banur told CNNIndonesia.com.
However, Banur has not confirmed the position of the former Indonesian National Team striker in the list of Rans Cilegon FC players during the match.
“About playing or not, how will he be in the field? If he is good and he is capable, why not? [dimainkan]. Hopefully, the presence of Gonzales can be a motivation for other players, “said Banur.
Apart from Gonzales, Rans Cilegon FC is also confirmed to have recruited Syamsir Alam, who has not appeared in the Indonesian League since 2016. Just like Gonzales, Banur will not necessarily play Syamsir Alam in the match.
“Of course the Rans Cilegon FC management has considerations. Is it business or entertainment considerations, because our owners are celebrities,” said Banur.
Rans Cilegon FC is currently playing in the Indonesian League 2 and is determined to move up the caste to League 1 after the majority share is owned by celebrity Raffi Ahmad.
Indonesian national team legend Bambang Nurdiansyah was appointed as head coach. Meanwhile, the managerial position was given to former Persija Jakarta and Arema Hamka Hamzah players.
