Farmers who have requested crop insurance aid for the 2023 campaign, as part of their Pac declaration, must still complete two formalities to validate their request.
The insurance contribution for the multi-risk climate contract must be fully paid no later than October 31. If this is only partially paid, the amount of aid is calculated on the basis of the premium actually paid. An additional reduction rate may also be applied in certain cases.
Contract declaration form
The applicant must also return to the Territorial Directorate (DTT) at the headquarters of the operation, the Cerfa contract declaration form sent by their insurer. It is the date of receipt of the form by the administration which is taken into account. It is therefore advisable to send it by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt or at least by followed letter. The applicant must check the information on the document (company name, grazing number, surface areas and crop rotation) and sign it, before returning it to the DDT before November 30, 2023. For the Gaec, the document must be signed by all the associates.
