PHOTO-SENSITIVE EPILEPSY: IF YOU HAVE A HISTORY OF EPILEPSY AND SEIZURES, CONSULT A PHYSICIAN BEFORE ANY USE. SOME REASONS MAY TRIGGER SEIZURES IN PEOPLE WITHOUT HISTORY. BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT READ THE DIRECTIONS FOR USE CAREFULLY.
Important health and safety information
Seizures caused by light stimulation (photosensitive epilepsy)
If you have epilepsy or have ever had a seizure, please consult your physician before using this system.
Some people are sensitive to lights as well as flickering or flickering geometric shapes and patterns, may unknowingly have epilepsy, and have epileptic seizures when playing video games or watching video content.
STOP IMMEDIATELY and see your doctor if you experience any of the following symptoms or health problems when subjected to flickering or flickering visual stimulation while playing video games or watching video content:
- eye inflammation,
- impaired vision,
- migraine,
- muscle twitches,
- convulsions or other involuntary movements,
- fainting
- loss of consciousness,
- confusion or disorientation.
In addition to the symptoms above, STOP ALL USE IMMEDIATELY if you experience any of the following symptoms:
- headache,
- dizziness
- nausea,
- fatigue,
- symptoms similar to motion sickness,
- discomfort or pain in any part of the body such as the eyes, ears, hands, arms, or feet while you are playing.
If symptoms persist, ask a doctor for advice.
Use and handling
- Make sure the room is well-lit and stand a good distance from the television.
- Avoid using the system for too long. Take 15-minute breaks after every hour of play.
- Avoid playing if you are tired or need sleep.
- Stop using the system immediately if you feel tired or experience
discomfort or pain in your hands or arms when using the controller. If symptoms persist, ask a doctor for advice.
Precautions to be observed when using joysticks
Do not use the vibration functions or the triggers if you have pain or injury to the bones, joints or muscles of the hands or arms. If you suffer from pain or injury, do not play such games with the controller without disabling these functions.
Precautionary measures regarding the VR headset
- Before use, please read the health and safety warnings in the VR headset user manual.Please follow all installation and use instructions carefully.
- The VR headset should not be used by children under 12 years old.
- Please examine your surroundings and remove any obstructions before use. Prevent animals, children or other obstacles from entering the area in use.
- Some people may experience nausea, orientation or vision disturbances
or other discomfort when viewing VR content. In the presence of such symptoms, immediately stop using the VR headset and remove it.
Precautions regarding PlayStation®Move
- When using a motion controller, avoid holding the controller closer than 20 cm from your face or eyes.
- Keep the following points in mind when using the motion controller. If the motion controller touches a person or object, it may cause injury or accidental damage.
- Always use the lanyard.
- Hold the controller firmly to prevent it from slipping.
- Tighten the strap well.
- Make sure you have enough space for safe use.
