The Ministry of Health and Population has published an educational video, to explain the best ways to support children’s immunity, which is their eating a balanced meal that contains vegetables and fruits, carbohydrates, and protein.
The ministry explained how to provide a balanced meal for the child, by dividing the plate in half. The first half includes vegetables and fruits.
The second half is divided into two quarters. One is for carbohydrates (bread, rice, or pasta), and the other is for protein (such as meat, poultry, eggs, and legumes).
