The government has in fact given the green light to discounts and cuts for those citizens who have not complied with the various payments. But it is important to pay attention to brand new dates to mark on the calendar. Here’s what they are.

June and July are busy months for citizens. Between the tax return, the organization of holidays and summer holidays and various commitments, many citizens could forget very important appointments which, if missed, could cost their wallets and more.

With the Budget Law 2023, the Meloni government has decided to introduce the new fiscal peace for those citizens in debt to the tax authorities. In fact, those who have debts with the collection agency accrued during the time window that go from from 1 January 2000 to 30 June 2022.
It will be necessary to pay the amounts as capital and those accrued as reimbursement – the agency says – including the debts relating to fines that have to do with the Highway Code and other administrative sanctions. In order to take advantage of the fiscal peace measure, it is necessary to make a specific declaration by June 30th 2023. One is also planned postponement of the deadline to September for those residing in the Municipalities affected by the flood.
You must apply for electronically through the service made available by the Revenue Agency. It will be possible to do this by logging into the reserved area with SPID and Electronic Identity Card and following the instructions on the portal. If you log in from the public area, you will need to indicate your e-mail address, as well as validate your request within 72 hours using the link received.
The Agency itself will communicate the outcome of the applications, also specifying the amounts due and the payment model to be used. Payment can be made by October 31, 2023or in installments: the first by 31 October, while the second by November 30th 2023. The other installments must be paid by 28 February, 31 maggio, 31 July e 30 November 2024.
