A milestone in Argentina’s recent history. The city of Rosario has managed to complete an entire month without registering homicides. This unprecedented event since the beginning of criminal statistics records in 2013, was enthusiastically announced by the Ministry of National Security, headed by Patricia Bullrich.
The Argentine Minister of Security, Patricia Bullrich, visited El Salvador and toured the largest penitentiary center on the continent, with the aim of learning about the security policies implemented by President Nayib Bukele. The Argentine official was at the Terrorism Confinement Center (CECOT), and previously visited the National Academy of Public Security (ANSP).
In Argentina, the comprehensive initiative designed to combat narco-terrorism and restore order in a city that until recently was synonymous with urban violence is known as Plan Bandera. The country’s Ministry of Security was quick to spread the news about the 30 days in the city of Rosario, through its digital platforms, describing the event as a “new milestone” in the arduous battle against crime.
