As of this Monday there will be important changes in the service of lines F and M.
Track replacements between Manhattan and Queens will affect service through at least the first quarter of 2024.
The rail change will force the F train to bypass the Queensbridge, Roosevelt Island, Lexington Avenue and 57th Street stations.
The M line will also be partially suspended and will not run in either direction between the Rockefeller Center and Forest Hills-71st Avenue stations.
The MTA says these changes will improve reliability for nearly 150,000 daily riders and that it will provide buses between Roosevelt Island and Lexington Avenue to replace the subway.
But this service will only work between 5 am and midnight.
