Emergency services are on site and an advanced medical post has been set up. One person died and 4 other people were poisoned.

D‘according to the spokesperson for the Brussels fire brigade Walter Derieuw, an apartment fire broke out in Saint-Gilles. A major backup system has been put in place. Shortly before 11 a.m., the fire was brought under control but unfortunately one person died. Four other people are intoxicated while six others are treated on the spot.
Psychological support has been set up for the inhabitants and several domestic animals have been evacuated.
