The minister directed a number of advice that citizens should follow to limit the spread of the new Corona virus by avoiding family gatherings, maintaining social distancing between individuals in public places, and adhering to wearing a mask while following the instructions on how to wear it and safely dispose of it.
She added that, in order to avoid the spread of infection, one should not shake hands with the hand during the meeting, with the need to wash hands with soap and water continuously for at least 20 seconds or rub them with alcohol, and the gathering of large numbers of citizens in public places such as markets, shops, etc., must also be prevented. Emphasizing the necessity not to share personal tools with others, and to avoid touching unclean surfaces.
Zayed urged individuals aged 60 years or more or anyone suffering from chronic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, chronic lung disease, cerebrovascular disease and chronic kidney disease, and pregnant women, to avoid gatherings as they are the most vulnerable. For infectious diseases, and go to the nearest hospital if any symptoms are felt.
