Bouchez sees nothing in a state reform, socio-economic reforms are much more important: “If Belgium progresses, Flanders progresses. De Wever is mistaken: if he goes for confederalism and leaves Wallonia to the PS, the whole of Belgium will benefit socio-economically backwards. There is no Berlin wall between Flanders and Wallonia, our economies are very much connected.”
