FUJAIRAH, 21st September, 2017 (WAM) – His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, stressed the importance of partnerships and strategic projects in achieving the goals of cultural and youth institutions, and their pivotal role in developing the cultural and community work sectors that reflect positively on individuals and society.
This came while His Highness received, at Rumaila Palace, His Excellency Sheikh Salem bin Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of Culture and Youth, and the accompanying delegation, on the sidelines of the official opening of the second session of the Al Badr Festival, which is held under the patronage of His Highness in Fujairah.
His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah pointed to the support and directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, for culture and arts in all its forms, and His Highness’s interest in the youth group and empowering them in the process of serving the nation and building its renaissance, which contributes to enhancing the UAE’s competitive indicators in these sectors. And achieving its vision and directions at the global level.
During the meeting, His Highness was briefed on the plans of the Ministry of Culture and Youth, and its current and future programs and projects, which support the progress of the culture sector in the country in general and the Emirate of Fujairah in particular.
His Highness praised the Ministry’s role in the cultural, artistic and youth movement taking place in the country, stressing the importance of investing in the energies and talents of young people and employing them at the best, most impactful and effective levels in society.
His Excellency Sheikh Salem bin Khalid Al Qasimi extended his thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah for His Highness’s support of the initiatives that enhance the cultural movement and youth work in the country, and contribute to achieving the best global competitiveness indicators in these two vital sectors.
The meeting was attended by: His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al-Zeyoudi, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah, and His Excellency Mubarak Al-Nakhi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture and Youth.
