This is exactly why I avoid poking around in discussions. It does no good. Don’t touch me. You are comparing the manufacturer’s specs which are limited by the battery (and how to get operation at lower temperatures is discussed here in the discussion) and the temperatures you run your sensors at – without being sure they are working as they should. You are also confusing the words “standard” and “regular”. You need to use capitals to emphasize this. For example, the CR2032 used in that thermometer is standard. What you meant to say is that you are fine with regular batteries, you just got it wrong.
However, I didn’t notice that you were comparing apples and pears, so I responded thinking it would be a meaningful discussion.
I’m sure it’s not about my understanding of the text. You can tell me a lot, but with this you are only pointing at yourself.
