The WhatsApp desktop app does not offer this option, but there will certainly be some Windows 10 users who use a smartphone and no longer want to use WhatsApp. The function is available for both Apple iOS and Android devices and you only need the latest versions of WhatsApp and Telegram. If the steps cannot be used, you may have to check for updates, sometimes the application has to be closed once and then restarted so that it works correctly. Export WhatsApp to Telegram with Android:
On Android you open WhatsApp and then go to the chat that you want to import from WhatsApp into Telegram. Then you tap on the top right three points, changes the point in the menu that opens More and can there Export chat choose. Afterwards you decide whether you want to export the chat with or without media and can then from the menu Send objects to also select Telegram. Here you then select the contact to which this data should be assigned and if you confirm this, the data will be exported. Depending on the amount, it may take a moment for the chat to be established in Telegram.
Export WhatsApp to Telegram with iOS:
Here you first open the chat and then tap on the name at the top to get to the chat menu. Here you will find the entry to export the chat a little further down. Then you first select Telegram and then the contact with which the chat should be connected and already started like exporting WhatsApp to Telegram.
Author’s comment: This makes switching from WhatsApp to Telegram easier if you want to switch, but other messengers such as Line and KakaoTalk also allow exporting to Telegram.
