Implementation of Death Penalty in Riyadh Region: Majdi Muhammad Al-Nour Salouma Executed

Al-Marsad Newspaper – SPA: The Ministry of Interior issued a statement regarding the implementation of the death penalty for one of the perpetrators in the Riyadh region, as follows:

God Almighty said: (O you who have believed, retaliation for the dead is prescribed for you) verse.

And the Almighty said: (And you have life in retribution, O people of understanding, that you may fear).

Majdi Muhammad al-Nur Salouma – a Sudanese national – killed Mukhtar Muhammad Ezz al-Din Ruways – a Sudanese national – by stabbing him with a knife several separate stab wounds on his body, which led to his death after a dispute between them.

By the grace of God, the security authorities were able to arrest the aforementioned perpetrator, and the investigation with him resulted in an accusation against him of committing his crime, and in referring him to the competent court, a document was issued against him proving what was attributed to him, and the ruling was that he should be killed as retribution, and the ruling was upheld by the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court, and a royal order was issued. Enforcing what was legally decided and supported by its reference.

The death sentence was executed in retribution by the offender / Majdi Muhammad Al-Nour Salouma – a Sudanese national – on Wednesday, 02/14/1445 AH, corresponding to 08/30/2023 AD, in the Riyadh region.
