The decision to impeach US President Joe Biden will be made “very soon.” This was stated at a press conference today by the new Speaker of the US House of Representatives from the Republican Party, Mike Johnson, reports the British newspaper The Guardian.
“…I believe that we will come to a decision on this issue very soon,” Johnson said.
This is how he answered the question of whether there is enough evidence for the House of Representatives to prepare articles of impeachment against President Biden.
It is noted that the impeachment investigation in the US Congress was suspended for several weeks while the House of Representatives elected a speaker. Whether it will continue is one of the main issues that Johnson must resolve, the publication notes.
