– Last Sunday we reported that CM Punk was a guest backstage at the last Impact Wrestling TV taping (CLICK). More details about his visit have emerged over the past few days. He is said to have been warmly welcomed by all employees and athletes and had many conversations. Punk is also said to have played a round of “UNO” with a group of previously unnamed people. After guesting backstage on an edition of Monday Night Raw, this was Punk’s second visit to a wrestling promotion outside of AEW in a short amount of time.
– Impact Wrestling confirmed the signing of Jennifer “Jade” Chung via Twitter this week. Chung will act as ring announcer on “Before the Impact” and host the pre-shows.
– How long will Nick Aldis stay with Impact Wrestling? After his return to Rebellion, many fans and experts have asked themselves this question in recent weeks. Various sources have said that the 36-year-old agreed a handshake deal with Impact, but this is not true. Aldis and Impact are said to have agreed on a written contract, albeit with a short term.
