Tasikmalaya News, (harapanrakyat.com), – The government’s ban on Eid homecoming this year also has an impact on a number of pet care services.
As was felt by Aceu Siti Munawaroh, owner of Tigrie’s pet care service, on Jalan Cihideung Balong, Kota. Tasikmalaya, West Java.
Aceu admitted that there were fewer residents who left their pets this year.
“The impact of the ban on going home this year is that there are no residents leaving pets,” he admitted to HR Online, Wednesday (19/5/2021).
“This year there will be no care for pets such as cats, dogs and other pets from outside the area,” continued the owner of a pet care service, Tigrie.
Even though, he continued, if you compare it with the same 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic, for 2021 this has increased.
“In 2020, with the impact of the lockdown, the number is around 20, all of which are cats,” he said.
Aceu said, this comparison has further decreased by around 60 percent, when compared to before the Covid-19 pandemic.
“It must have decreased drastically if you compare it to 2018 and 2019,” he said.
Aceu further added that he was not only a pet care service. But also includes other services.
“Not only in the care. The services we provide to those who entrust pets, including feeding. Apart from that, it is also medicine, if the animal they are entrusting is experiencing health problems, “he concluded. (Apip/R5/HR-Online)
