Bloomberg Technoz, Jakarta – Immunization expert Elizabeth Jane Soepardi MPH, DSc said the efficacy level of the Inavac and Indovac vaccines for Covid-19 is at 70%.
“About 60-70 percent,” said Elizabeth Bloomberg Technoz, Friday (15/12/2023).
As is known, the highest vaccine efficacy currently recognized is the Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson and Johnson vaccines, around 97%.
“It could be around 97% which is very high,” said Elizabeth.
However, Elizabeth said that there is no need to worry about the efficacy of the Inavac and Indovac vaccines for use. The reason, he said, is that the domestically made vaccine is already above the WHO standard for Covid-19 vaccine efficacy, namely 50%.
