Morelia, Mich.- The campaign against influenza in the state concludes on March 31, with the goal of applying 1.3 million doses, according to the Ministry of Health of Michoacán (SSM), with a progress of 74 percent.
The SSM invites the disadvantaged population to protect themselves against this respiratory infection by going to their nearest health center, within the campaign that started in October of last year and will conclude on the indicated date, so there is still time to get immunized. .
“This vaccine is recommended for the entire family, from six months of age and can be requested free of charge in the 364 health centers in the state, as well as in the ISSSTE clinics and IMSS Family Medicine Units.
“The requirements to receive the vaccine, in the case of minors, are to be older than six months and present the National Health Card; while adults must present a voter ID card with a photograph,” the information indicates.
