The next big thing from EA Originals and Ascendant Studios had to backtrack in June, three weeks before it was due, to bring Immortals of Aveum back to the table and put the finishing touches on it. The two-month delay is now nearly over.The studio has just publishedstatementannouncing that the game has reached its “gold” stage, with physical copies now leaving the factory and heading to stores and distributors.
After five years in development and learning the ins and outs of Unreal Engine 5, the studio is now ready to face gamers’ verdict with its magical Call of Duty-style shooter. We’ve tested it twice at Gamereactor (once earlier this year and most recently at the Summer Games Festival), and we have high hopes for the game.
Without further delays, we’re patiently waiting for Immortals of Aveum to launch on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC on August 22nd.
