From the City Center Mall, in the city of Paterson, a non-profit organization is dedicated to providing advice and assistance to immigrants, so that they can resolve their procedures before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service.
The Immigration & American Citizenship Organization (IACO), located at 301 Main Street, is made up of a team of lawyers who want to help low-income people so that they can legalize themselves in the country.
And although it is not a free service, they are serving about 100 people a month, charging approximately a third of what you would have to pay in a regular lawyer’s office.
How to request and receive help from the IACO for your immigration procedures
The most recommended option is that you attend the organization directly, but it is also convenient that you first contact the offices to schedule an appointment and verify the availability of care.

“The IACO is recognized by the Office of Legal Access Programs (OLAP) of the United States Department of Justice, to represent low-income people in their immigration proceedings before the Immigration and Citizenship Service (USCIS) of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS),” the organization clarifies in a statement.
