LINZ. The large special exhibition “Van Gogh – The Immersive Experience” in the Linzer Tabakfabrik – presented by Tips – has reopened and has been extended until March 14th. Art fans can win free tickets at Tips.
The exhibition takes you into the world of the art genius Vincent van Gogh, a special highlight is the large immersive area, in which visitors can immerse themselves in the artist’s works through elaborate light installations and a perfectly coordinated soundscape. You can also learn exciting backgrounds from the life of the painter and the origins of the famous works.
The exhibition not only shows over 500 works by Van Gogh, it also explains the life of the artist, who was born in 1853. His time in the monastery and the stay in Arles are just as much part of the virtual discovery tour as the mysterious letters he wrote to his brother. A 360-degree multimedia journey through time through the history of one of the greatest geniuses of the past century is sometimes awaiting visitors.
