Maruarar said the government would reorganize the Ciliwung River to deal with flooding. Affected residents can also be relocated to Pasar Rumput Flats and free for one year.

“What is free is for those affected by yesterday’s fire in Manggarai. Second, later we want to organize the Ciliwung area, certainly those who are affected, will deal with floods, certainly those who will be displaced. No need to look, we have prepared it here, and it will be free after a year, said Maruarar.

Maruarar said the Pasar Rumput Flats would be for ASN, teachers and TNI-Polri staff. Rental fees will be adjusted according to the income of the residents.

“It was explained earlier, I found a figure from the Managing Director of Rp. 1,250 (million). That is the figure for managing this bankruptcy event. So of course equity is not equal. For example, The income could be Rp. 5 million to Rp. 10 million.

“For example, the (salary) of Rp. 5 or Rp. 6 million is reduced and divided from the one above, but it still meets the minimum. Rp. 1,250 million every month so that Pasar Jaya can not only make a profit but also not make a loss either.

Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian expressed the direction of President Prabowo Subianto so that the program would be right on target. He said people from lower economic classes are the main targets.

“The problem is focused specifically on housing, so the president’s directive is very clear that the number one priority is for people who don’t have homes, the little people,” he said. .

Tito emphasized that reckless people should not take advantage of Pasar Rumput Apartments. He asked the DKI Jakarta Regional Government and related parties to lead together.

“Starting from the low ranking TNI Polri, ASN who have problems, teachers, etc. Do not miss the target, fall into the hands of those who have a much higher income and then later they rent it to others. Of course this will happen later, Mr. Governor will evaluate an investigation,” he said.
