Brigadier General Muhammad Subhi Muhanna, Director of the Recruitment and Mobilization Department, said that people who delude young people of their ability to help them join the armed forces and blackmail them financially for this must be immediately reported, and beware of dealing with them.

Lieutenant General Muhammad Zaki, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, approved the announcement of accepting a new batch of volunteers to join the ranks of the Armed Forces, as well as guides (residents) for the Border Guard Forces, as of Saturday 01/04/2023.

This came during a press conference held by Brigadier General Muhammad Subhi Muhanna, Director of the Recruitment and Mobilization Department, in which he referred to the conditions and categories required for volunteering as follows:

– Those who have a general preparatory certificate or its equivalent (Azhar / vocational / mathematical), provided that the percentage of the total grades is not less than 60%.

– For those who have completed elementary school – preparatory school – preparatory education (passing degree only), born and residing in the governorates of (Qena / Aswan) and the desert areas in their area.

The age should not be less than 15 years and not more than 25 years when joining the armed forces on the first of January 2024, and not less than 17 years for those who are punished.

The height should not be less than 170 cm.

The applicant must be of Egyptian nationality and of Egyptian parents, and not be married or have ever been married.

– To pass all the prescribed tests and complete the required data (on the website of the Recruitment and Mobilization Department).

He must not have evaded conscription, medically unfit for military service, or been expelled from military service or any military educational facility.
