JAKARTA, celebrities.id – YouTube has a history feature that allows users to view videos that have been watched. This feature will reportedly also be present in TikTok.
Reporting from Ubergizmo, Tuesday (29/3/2022), renowned techno news leaker Hammod Oh said that TikTok was testing the feature on a number of users.
With the history feature it will be easier for them to find the videos they like, but unfortunately it is not clear when the feature will be presented by TikTok to all users in the stable version.
TikTok’s history feature has been heralded for quite some time. Tech news site TechCrunch also says there are indicators that TikTok will be bringing it up in the near future.
It says that TikTok’s history feature lets users try and filter the videos they’ve watched on the Discover page, but this doesn’t appear to be effective.
Unlike long YouTube videos, video TikTok have a shorter video duration. That way, automatic viewing history will also be more.
The more viewing history, of course, it will be more difficult to find videos that we have watched. Maybe because of this, until now TikTok has not officially launched the feature.
