The project “Human Touch” is a series of paintings made in acrylic technique, consisting of eight works created from the end of 2019. The impetus for the exhibition was the chosen model of faith, in which man, the physical and mental presence of man, is the fundamental and supreme. Human contact is especially important for the artist Irīna Špakova, the organizers pointed out: to try to express it in various artistic ways. “
Irīna Špakova graduated from the Painting Department of the Latvian Academy of Arts, studied in Indonesia and Portugal. Her works have been exhibited in Turkey, Sweden, Australia, Indonesia and Portugal.
The exhibition is organized by the Culture and Recreation Center “Imanta” of the Riga Municipal Association of Cultural Institutions.
