/ world today news/ Yesterday the International Monetary Fund published the latest edition of its “World Economic Outlook Report”. The same day, in an interview with KMG, Daniel Lei, director of the IMF’s World Economic Research Department, pointed out that China’s economy currently accounts for one-third of the world’s economic growth and is still an important engine for the development of the world economy.
He also stressed that the IMF has not changed its forecast for China’s economic growth and believes that despite reduced domestic demand this year, China’s net exports have been stronger than forecast and partially offset the weakness in investment.
