Remember Pebble? If not, we would like to remind you that it was a manufacturer of popular wearable accessories, which, due to financial problems, was bought in 2016 by a competing Fitbit and terminated his activity. However, Pebble founder Eric Migicovsky was not lazy and started working on a new project. This time it is an interesting application for Android, Windows and Linux, called Beeper. What can he do?
New app alert: I’ve been working on Beeper for a while and today we’re launching! It’s a single app to chat on iMessage, WhatsApp, and 13 other networks. Been using it as my default chat client for the last 2 years and there is NO going back. Check it out https://t.co/vjAtnYvdhS pic.twitter.com/rJ39rPFixb

15 chat services in one application
Beeper is a chat application that combines the following 15 chat services under one roof:
- Facebook Messenger
- iMessage
- Android Messages (SMS)
- Telegram
- Slack
- Hangouts
- Skype
- IRC
- Matrix
- Discord
- Signal
- Beeper network
Yes, you hear me right. While Facebook is trying to merge Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp, Beeper is bidding on even more services, all within one application.

It certainly did not escape the naked eye that among the supported services is iMessage, which is available only on Apple devices. This is still the case, but Beeper does not access the service directly, but through a remote intermediary. This can be either a constantly running Mac with Beeper Mac installed, or a jailbroken iPhone with Beeper installed. The creator of the application claims that he has 50 iPhone 4s ready for this purpose, which he will send to those interested.

Use of the Beeper service is subject to a fee of $ 10 per month. This is a relatively high amount, as you never know which of the services will suddenly stop working. To learn more about Beeper, visit official website of the project.
