entertainment">“In the year and a half before I was arrested at the Tomorrowland festival in Belgium, I regularly clashed with myself. I worked a lot, rested little and wondered more and more about the meaning of life. I was not happy with where I was, less happy with myself. I also slowly became more and more insecure about my career. For some auditions I was not asked and I got roles for which I didn’t seem cut out a few times. That ate me ”, he looks Grives back in AD.

entertainment">Things went wrong at a party during King’s Day in Amsterdam. The actress had panic and anxiety attacks. “I started taking more pills to treat anxiety, but it didn’t help. The brake was off. On King’s Day I could no longer stop the negative thoughts at all. To combat those feelings, I took more and more drugs at a party, with the result that I lost my consciousness. It ended well in the nick of time, although I became afraid of myself because I had lost control. ”

entertainment">The actress did not show to her environment that she was doing badly. “If only I had asked for help more clearly. That is also what I want to say to others: ask for help! Don’t try to solve it on your own. But I didn’t do that, I retreated into myself. ”

entertainment">Imanuelle was looking for kicks and was arrested at the festival with a large amount of drugs. “In the cell I was confronted with myself very hard. What did I do? How could this have come about? It was tough there. Before I was arrested I spent months complaining. Am I famous enough? Do I have enough followers on Instagram? I felt neither seen nor heard. Behind bars I was taught a lesson in humility. Was this what I wished for myself? I had been so preoccupied with recognition and ego that I had worked myself into this situation. ”

entertainment">She wrote a book about her experiences, also spurred on by the many reactions to her interview with Eva Jinek earlier this year, together with journalist Anton Slotboom, which will be published next week.
