The songs of Imants Kalniņš will be performed by Aleksandrs Špicbergs and Vladimirs Kudrins, as well as Anta Eņģele, Kaspars and Anda Zemīši, Andijs Rožkalns, Dāvids Kalniņš, Reinards Blūmentāls.

Before Christmas, the first book from the planned series of sheet music editions is published – the collection “The First Book. Imants Kalniņš”. It includes 12 notes for voice and guitar by Imants Kalniņš, phonograms of lyrics and English translations of lyrics. In addition to the most popular songs, music lovers will also be delighted by two less heard songs by Imants Kalniņš with lyrics by Ojārs Kalniņš in English. Guitar arrangements and accompaniments were played by Vladimir Kudrin. The collection was compiled by Māra Špicberga.

Simultaneously with the collection of sheet music, an album of song recordings is released, in which the students of the Riga Dome Choir School Dāvids Kalniņš and Reinards Blūmentāls also played together with Spitsbergen and Kudrin. The recording was made in the studio “Gem Plus”. Sound director Edijs Gņedovskis, album producer Māra Špicberga. The design of the sheet music collection and album was created by Stefan Spitsberg. Published by Spicberg.
