Amazon Imaging Science’s vision is simple: We want to provide the best 3D product visuals in the industry to empower customers to make informed purchasing decisions. Through technology, we seek to constantly increase the quality of 3D content and ease of creation through innovative new approaches including ML and Computer Vision.
We are seeking a Software Development Engineer II with a background in mobile iOS/Android development and 3D technologies. You will have an opportunity to use these skills to develop new approaches and techniques in collaboration with other engineers, scientists, and artists. Our ideal candidate thrives on solving hard problems at Amazon scale and has experience working within engineering teams on content creation tools.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS
· Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
· 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
· 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
· Experience in either iOS/Android mobile app development or 3D realtime systems

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS
· Prior knowledge of Amazon Web Services (EC2, SQS, DynamoDB, etc.)
· Experience with ML/Deep Learning
· Background in Computational Geometry, modern realtime and offline rendering systems, and simulation
· Experience working in collaborative, multi-disciplinary R&D team
