Adriano defended Inter in the 2004-2009 range. Similar to Lukaku, Adriano has relied on physical ability and his lethal left footed strike to score 74 goals in 177 games with Inter.
“Romelu is very similar to me in every way. Not only in terms of physical strength and his left leg, but also for his humility and very strong family ties,” Adriano told La Gazzetta dello Sport as quoted by Football Italia.

However, Inter fans certainly do not want Lukaku’s career to be similar to Adriano’s. Adriano’s career deteriorated due to the nightlife. After retiring, this former Flamengo player even had to deal with the police several times due to drugs.
