The Opsporing Verzocht program released images tonight of a second suspect who is linked to a shooting incident in April. A 24-year-old father was shot in the presence of his 4-year-old son at the Frederik Hendrikplantsoen in West.

The shooting incident happened on Wednesday evening April 29. The 24-year-old father was hit in the leg. The victim was still able to go after the shooter and overpower him with the help of bystanders. This underage suspect was restrained until the police arrested him.
Second suspect
The person who was arrested turned out not to be alone during the incident. At the time of the shooting, a second suspect was present and the police are looking for that. The minor suspect was seen on footage around the time of the shooting, at 6.45 pm, where he is in the presence of this co-suspect.
Images show that the second suspect is about 1.90 meters tall. He also wore a black sweater with the print ‘AX’ on the front in white.
Motive unclear
The victim has seen the shooter well and declares that he does not know him. The possible motive for the shooting incident is also still unknown.
