A render has appeared of what resembles the OnePlus 9. The device will have almost the same front as the 8T, but there are some differences on the back. Most notable; there is one less camera.
OnePlus seems to be taking the same route as Apple and Samsung. The camera island of the OnePlus 9 sits on an elevation in the same color as the rest of the back. 2 large camera sensors look at us with a smaller one underneath. On the right we see a flash. A triple camera system; presumably a main camera, an ultra-wide angle and a depth camera. The OnePlus 8T had a separate monochrome camera that could only take black and white pictures.
We usually see manufacturers building on previous developments. OnePlus has always been something different in this. It already did this by announcing a new model every six months. In itself, we can miss the monochrome lens if the other sensors can absorb that difference. A monochrome lens is usually used for black and white images, but it can also improve the sharpness of color photos. The same can be achieved with larger sensors. Still, zoom is still missing. OnePlus does not seem to want to, not even with the OnePlus 9.
OnePlus 9 launch
From source further expect the OnePlus 9 has a slightly larger screen than the OnePlus 8T. It has a 6.55-inch specimen, which is quite large in itself. The refresh rate of this would come out at 144 Hz, slightly higher than the 120 Hz from before. OnePlus may provide you with a battery of 5000 mAh that can be charged quickly with 65W Warp Charge. If they also manage to install the Snapdragon 875 processor, then it is completely a flagship. A possible announcement is expected in March 2021; a month earlier than usual.
