“I’m so sick of him”: Famous US conspiracy theorist attacks Donald Trump

Infowars presenter Alex Jones was one of Trump’s biggest supporters. However, the alliance has turned into the opposite, as a new video shows.

Dallas, Texas – With his website “Infowars” radio presenter Alex Jones (47) was once one of the great conspiracy theorists of the USA. He influenced millions and is said to be ex-president Donald Trump (74) even helped him to his office. Jones now hardly plays a role. And the former alliance has also turned into the opposite, as a video that has now been leaked shows.

“Part of me, the selfish part, wishes I had never met Trump,” explains Jones in a video that, according to a report by the “Vice“leaked to the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) and has now been published on Youtube.

The SPLC is a non-profit organization that aims to fight racism and promote civil rights. The recordings are said to be outtakes of the US propaganda documentary “You can’t watch this” from 2019. According to “Vice”, the film follows several “politically dissenters” after they lost their platform. One of them was Alex Jones.

Jones achieved worldwide fame with his website “Infowars”.

Under the government Barack Obamas (59), whom he called a demon, among other things, he developed into a national phenomenon and made millions with the sale of firearms, potency pills or even other products like drugs that are supposed to protect against the influence of feminism.

Then came Trump, whom Jones loudly supported and even had on his show. In the video that has now been leaked, the radio host describes it as one of his greatest achievements to have brought Trump into office.

It shouldn’t work out for Jones, however. With his friend Trump, the conspiracy theorist came increasingly into the public eye and his empire began to fall apart.

  • In a legal dispute over the right to care for his children his lawyers called him an actor who played a fictional character and should not be taken seriously.
  • The survivors of the Sandy Hook school massacre, in which 20 children between the ages of six and seven were shot dead, sued Jones for calling them actors.
  • In 2018, Twitter, Facebook and Youtube blocked Jones’ channels. This drastically reduced his influence.
  • According to “Vice”, the FBI is currently investigating him because he took part in the storming of the US Capitol on January 6th.

“It’s true and I’m saying it straight out: I wish I had never fucking met Trump,” explains Jones in the leaked video. “I’m so fucking sick of Donald Trump, man. God, I’m fucking sick of him.” (German: “I’m so damn tired of Donald Trump. God damn, I’m sick of him.”)
