Im Seul-ong fined 7 million won for’Rain Driving Death Accident’

According to law enforcement officials on the 18th, the Seoul Western District Law issued a summary order of 7 million won to Im, who was briefly charged with violating the Special Act on Traffic Accident Handling on the 13th.

A summary order is a procedure for disposing a fine, etc. without a trial. If a party disagrees with the decision of the court, a formal trial can be requested within one week after being served with the summary order.

The prosecution briefly prosecuted Mr. Im taking into account the agreement that Mr. Lim had agreed with his bereaved family in November last year. Mr. Lim hit a pedestrian crossing while driving near Digital Media City Station in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul at around 11:50 p.m. on August 1 last year. The pedestrian was taken to a nearby hospital, but died.
