“I’m not holding back”

Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios has confirmed that he is not holding back from his comments against Novak Djokovic, the world’s number one. Kyrgios, a six-time ATP champion, said he doesn’t consider Djokovic the greatest player of all time, having beaten the Serb twice in so many games.

At the beginning of 2017, Kyrgios Djokovic handed over a straight set defeat on the hard courts in Acapulco, before giving the Serb another defeat in two sets a few days later at the Indian Wells Masters.

“No matter how many majors Novak wins, he will never be the greatest for me,” said Kyrgios this week. “I’ve played him twice and if he can’t beat me you’re not the greatest of all time.”

In his Instagram story, Kyrgios shared a post with these comments and titled it, “I’m not holding back”.

Kyrgios also called Djokovic a fool

A total of 72 players are currently in strict quarantine before the Australian Open.

17-time Grand Slam champion Djokovic put forward a list of proposals and urged the Victoria government to relax quarantine restrictions. Djokovic’s proposals were bluntly rejected by Victoria’s Prime Minister Daniel Andrews.

After reading Djokovic’s suggestions. Kyrgios called him a “fool” on Twitter In 2019, Kyrgios had some harsh words about Djokovic. “I just feel like he has a sick obsession with wanting to be liked.

He just wants to be like Roger (Federer), “said Kyrgios at the time.” For me personally – I don’t care at the moment, I’ve come this far – I have the feeling that he just wants to be liked so much that I like him just can’t stand

“This whole celebration (kisses to the crowd) that he does after the games is so shameful.” We’re talking about a man who retired from the Australian Open for a year because it was too hot. ”
