Usain Bolt is the fastest man in history, and he could still be for a while as his 100m record seems untouchable. On the other hand, in the 200m, Noah Lyles could well take the best time in the next competitions. The Jamaican spoke about this.
Records exist to be broken, but in some disciplines, one can legitimately wonder whether it is humanly possible. In the 100m for example, the premier discipline of athletics, it is very difficult to imagine someone coming close to Usain Bolt’s 9.58 seconds, and even less so to go under this bar set in 2009 in Berlin.
