Figure skater Adelia Petrosyan commented on her performance in the short program at the Russian Championship among juniors (3rd place).
“I am glad that I coped with my excitement, it was in the short program. I am a little unhappy with the fact that I relaxed on the last spin. I had to make it faster, speed up, but I – no, relaxed.
The excitement was due to the fact that at the fifth stage of the Russian Cup I made a step-out in a cascade and skated a free program badly. I really wanted to show my best side at the Russian championship.
I am glad that I am being interviewed, I also like this always, because when asked, you must answer as much and more interestingly as possible, so that people would be interested in listening to you. I try to prepare before each competition. My mother and I go through the questions that they might ask me and try to answer them, ”Petrosyan said.
The skater also answered the question if she is going to work on a quadruple jump.
“I was planning to, but a little later. So far in recent weeks we have been working more on the programs, and we postponed work on the quadruple until after the Russian championship, ”she added.
